About Us
The Heart Behind Kidgarten

Who We Are

Kidgarten is more than just a nursery.
It’s a carefully created environment where your child is seen, supported, and celebrated.
Here, play is not a break from learning — it is learning. Every story told, every block stacked, and every giggle shared is part of the growing process.
We care deeply about early childhood not because it’s the beginning — but because it shapes everything that comes next.

Our Mission

To nurture the whole child — mind, heart, and body — through meaningful play, caring relationships, and developmentally appropriate experiences that spark confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Our Vision

To become a trusted early years environment where children thrive socially, emotionally, and cognitively — and where every family feels part of a warm, growing community.

Our core values

Care – We create safe, nurturing spaces where children feel secure, loved, and respected.

Growth – Every child learns in their own rhythm. We honor that — and support their journey.

Curiosity – We encourage questions, exploration, creativity, and joyful discovery every day.

Wellbeing – We promote emotional health, kindness, and positive relationships in every experience.

Meet the team

Kidgarten was founded and is led by an experienced early childhood educator with over 24 years of hands-on expertise.
With a strong academic background in child development and early years education — and as a mother of three — our founder brings both deep insight and warmth into everything we do.

Working alongside her is our in-house child psychologist, a core part of our leadership team, who ensures that every child’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs are cared for with expertise and empathy.

They are joined by a team of trained educators and caregivers — each selected for their qualifications, emotional presence, and dedication to nurturing each child’s personality.

Ghina El Chami

Founder & Preschool Director

With over 24 years in early childhood education, I’ve had the privilege of guiding young learners, leading teams, and creating nurturing, meaningful learning environments. While raising my three children, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from LAU and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from AUB while working full-time in the field I love.

As a preschool director, I’m known for being a supportive leader who values collaboration, growth, and a child-centered approach. Inspired by my mother, a dedicated teacher, and supported by my husband, I’ve remained committed to this work.

Kidgarten reflects my experience, passion, and belief that early childhood is a precious time—“Where Little Minds Grow.”

Yasmina Haj Ali

Child Psychologist

With an MSc in Clinical Child Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK, and a background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I support families in understanding emotional, social, and behavioural development in early childhood.

At Kidgarten, I provide observations, emotional check-ins, and guidance on communication, routines, and behaviour. I also offer psychosocial support sessions focused on wellbeing, self-regulation, and peer interactions — through play-based approaches that respect each child’s unique pace and personality.
